Alyssum spinosum is a perennial ground cover with beautiful small white flowers. They also look beautiful on a border or especially in a rock garden. They thrive in full sun or a bit of shade and are rather drought tolerant but to keep them in best shape water regularly. Alyssum spinosum is usually treated as annuals but you can cut it back and it will grow again. Very easy to grow from seed. Allysum is found in white, pink, and violet.
I am a flower enthusiast and a gardener at heart. Ever since childhood I loved reading about plants and started gardening at an early age. First by helping my father in the garden and later managing a large garden myself in my teen years. I planted and cared for a large number of plants, flowers, and trees both outdoors and in a greenhouse. To this day I enjoy visiting gardens and parks and learning about new and old specimens and varieties of plants.
