Eucomis comosa – Sparkling Burgundy or also called Pineapple Lily – Sparkling Burgundy is a member of the Asparagaceae family and it is a bulbous perennial. It has kind of reddish-purple leaves. It flowers in the summer. The flowers are produced on racemes with a hint of purple. Eucomis comosa is deciduous and you can propagate from seeds. Plant it in the sun in fertile, moist but well-drained soil.
