Beloperone ‘Super Goldy is part of the Acanthaceae family of plants. It is a subtropical evergreen shrub. It is native to Peru. They also call it the Lollipop Plant, Golden Shrimp Plant, or Pachystachys lutea.

It grows to about 1m or 3ft tall. Beloperone ‘Super Goldy’ has dark green, lance-shaped foliage. The white flowers grow from bright-yellow bracts. The flowers are two-lipped and appear in spring and summer.

Grow Beloperone ‘Super Goldy’ in the sunlight. Plant it in moist, fertile, hums-rich soil that is well-drained. Place it in a sheltered location. Keep it frost-free. Propagate by softwood cuttings.
