Delphinium – King Arthur is a beautiful white eyed Delphinium which belongs to the Ranunculaceae family of plants. It has deep blue flowers on racemes that bloom in summer. It is deciduous perennial. As other Delphiniums it is prone to slugs and snails. You can grow it in full sun in moist, fertile and well-drained soil but remember to shelter it from wind they usually do better by the walls or fences where they have a bit more protection and you can use stakes to reinforce the long stems of flowers that could get heavy. Delphiniums are usually propagated by seeds in early spring.
