Tagetes Erecta Moonsong

African Marigolds Moonsong (Tagetes erecta) showy flowers and fragrant actually the scent keeps pests away. The African Marigold is actually native to North America. They usually have large yellow or orange balls for flowers. They bloom all summer and fall. They do like well-drained soil and the sun.

Without deadheading African Marigolds continuously flower through the season. They do tolerate the heat and drought but water them deeply during the dry season. They look great both in borders as well as in pots and containers.
