Aquilegia vulgaris 'Mellow Yellow'

Aquilegia vulgaris ‘Mellow Yellow’ is a herbaceous perennial. They also call it Columbine ‘Mellow Yellow’, Granny’s Bonnet ‘Mellow Yellow’, Monk’s Head Lily ‘Mellow Yellow’, or Crowfoot ‘Mellow Yellow’. It is upright growing and clump-forming and is part of the Ranunculaceae family of plants. A. vulgaris is native to Europe, however, Aquilegia vulgaris ‘Mellow Yellow’ is a hybrid.

Aquilegia vulgaris ‘Mellow Yellow’ grows to about 90cm or 25in tall. It flowers in late spring or early summer. The flowers are white and nodding and spurred. The leaves are yellowish-green and divided.
