Argyranthemum frutescens Molimba ‘Pink’ is a cultivar of the Argyranthemum frutescens which is native to the Canary Islands. It is also known as the Paris Daisy, Marguerite, or Marguerite Daisy.
Argyranthemum frutescens Molimba ‘Pink’ grows to 18in or 45cm and produces pink daisy-like flowers in late spring and early summer. It is a tender evergreen perennial but sometimes it is treated as an annual. Propagate from seeds or cuttings. Molimba series have a higher tolerance to heat. Foliage is frilly and the flowers are more long-lasting than other daisies. Plant them in the sun or partial shade in moist soil but well-drained. Argyranthemum frutescens Molimba ‘Pink’ prefers a lot of organic material in the soil, and though it prefers moist soil it can be overwhelmed with too much water. Deadheading is not necessary. Regular fertilization will help it perform better.
