Clematis ‘Mrs Cholmondeley’ is an early flower clematis that usually reflows at end of the summer again. It is part of the Ranunculaceae family of plants. Clematis ‘Mrs. Cholmondeley’ is an easy-growing, deciduous climber.

The Clematis ‘Mrs Cholmondeley’ flowers are single with six petals that are pale violet color, the sepals are rounded and veined. The stamens are white and brown. It flowers in late spring and the second round end of summer.
Plant Clematis ‘Mrs Cholmondeley’ in the sun or partial shade, usually you get more flowers in the sun but you need to keep the roots cold. You can do this by putting stones or planting other plants to keep the soil cool. And plant the crown at least 5cm or 2 in deep. Propagate by semi-hardwood cuttings and layering. Clematis ‘Mrs Cholmondeley’ is susceptible to aphids, wilt, slime flux, caterpillars or earwigs.
