Narcissus ‘Sir Winston Churchill’

Narcissus ‘Sir Winston Churchill’ is part of the Amaryllidaceae family of plants. It is a bulbous perennial. They also call it Daffodil ‘Sir Winston Churchill’ or Narcissus ‘Winston Churchill’.

It is a double flowering narcissus or daffodil. It grows to about 40cm or 18in tall. Flowers are creamy-white with orange parts and they are fragrant. It has linear leaves and leafless flowering stems. Narcissus ‘Sir Winston Churchill’ flowers in spring.

How to grow Narcissus ‘Sir Winston Churchill’:

Grow Narcissus ‘Sir Winston Churchill’ in the sun or partial shade. Plant it two times its depth deep in moderately fertile soil. The soil should be kept moist, not wet, during the growing season.

Propagate by offsets. Deadhead flowers but keep the leaves so they store energy for next season. Watch out for slugs, eelworm, scale mite, basal rot.
