
Cosmos which are native to Mexico and tropical America have beautiful summer flowers ranging from white to purples and pinks. They are classified as annuals and have bright green divided leaves that complement the dainty flowers. Cosmos is part of the Asteraceae family of plants.
Cosmos are beautiful in borders, they do grow tall from 2′ to 8′ feet 60cm to 2.2m. You can saw them from seed or find them in your neighborhood nursery. They love the sun and do not require very rich soil and are drought-resistant.
