Cuphea melvilla ‘Candy Corn’

Cuphea melvilla ‘Candy Corn’ belongs to the Lythraceae family of plants. This summer-blooming perennial is beautiful in borders and like candy corn has dual color yellow and orange tubular flowers. Cuphea melvilla ‘Candy Corn’ blooms in the summer and prefers partial shade. It was first described by English botanist, John Lindley (1799-1865).

Cuphea melvilla ‘Candy Corn’ grows to about 24″ tall and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Remove old flowers to look fresh and keep the soil evenly moist.
