Ceratostigma willmottianum also called Chinese Plumbago or Hardy Plumbago is part of the Plumbaginaceae family of plants. It is originated from China and Tibet and is a small deciduous shrub with bright blue flowers in summer and fall.

The leaves of Ceratostigma willmottianum turn reddish in autumn or fall. Chinese Plumbago can be planted in full sun or partial shade in moist well-drained soil. Chinese Plumbago can grow up to 1 meter tall. Propagate Ceratostigma willmottianum by cuttings.
