Ceratostigma Willmottianum

Ceratostigma willmottianum, Chinese Plumbago or Hardy Plumbago is part of the Plumbaginaceae family of plants. It is native to China and Tibet and is a small deciduous shrub with bright blue flowers in summer and fall.

The leaves of Ceratostigma willmottianum turn reddish in autumn or fall. Chinese Plumbago can be planted in full sun or partial shade in moist well-drained soil. Chinese Plumbago can grow up to 1m or 3ft tall. Propagate Ceratostigma willmottianum by cuttings.
