Gentiana asclepiadea is also called Willow Gentian, or Milkweed Gentian. It is native to Europe and is part of the Gentianaceae family of plants. Gentiana asclepiadea is a herbaceous perennial and it can add a nice touch of extraordinary blue color to your borders. It is native to central and southern Europe. It grows to about 1m or 3ft tall and it produces blue trumpet-shaped flowers in late summer and early fall. Gentiana asclepiadea leaves are lanceolate. The flower grows on leaf axils.
