
Hebe ‘Hielan Lassie’ is a member of the Plantaginaceae family of plants. It is also called Shrubby Veronica, or Hebe Else. It is a bushy plant that grows to about 1m, 3ft high. This is an evergreen shrub with dark green leaves. The flowers are purplish-pink, and they usually appear in summer and autumn.
Grow it in the sun or partial shade. Plant it in moist, well-drained soil. The soil can be poor to moderately rich. If you prune it after it flowers it might flower another round.

Watch out for aphids and Tortrix moth, as well as downy mildew or left spot. Propagate by cuttings in late summer or autumn.
