Stachys macrantha ‘Superba’ or Betonica Macrantha is also called Big Betony ‘Superba’, Stachys grandiflora, Betonica grandiflora ‘Superba‘, Stachys spicata ‘Superba‘. “Macrantha” means “large-flowered” in Latin. It is a deciduous, herbaceous perennial. It is clump-forming. It is part of the Lamiaceae family of plants. It is native to Caucasus and Iran.
